Happy Diwali Decoration – Diya Decoration

Diwali is the most important festival of Hindu religion as on this day Lord Rama and Mata Sita along with Laxman returned to Ayodhya after defeating the demon king Ravan in Lanka. This defeat of demon king symbolize the victory of truth over evil, good over bad. Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and pouring battle with demon king of Lanka, the Ravan then the Ayodhya city was decorated with flowers, rangoli and oil lamps to welcome them and all the habitants of Ayodhya celebrates the happiness of victory of lord Rama. From that day Diwali is celebrated each year to recall the victory. Diwali decoration can be done by using flowers, candles, diya decoration, coloured powder, etc.

Diya decoration is the best way to decorate your house, office, streets, etc. Diya decoration requires some diyas and oil. Diya decoration is considered the best way of decoration.

Diwali celebrations mainly includes Diwali decoration and Diya decoration of houses and offices or workplace. Before 3-4 days from Diwali people starts cleaning, whitewashing, decorating, renovating their houses and decorate them with candles, oil-lamps, Diwali stickers, flower petals and flower garland. For Diwali decoration, women in the houses starts making rangoli designs also known as Alpana at their house’s entrance or veranda and at gallery with colour full colours, flower petals. In addition to Diwali decoration, people prays to goddess Laxmi and lord Ganesha along with Lord Kuber and Bahi-Khata (Books of accounts) are also worshipped as Hindu business community believes that their financial year starts from the day of Diwali or Deepavli. Besides Diwali decoration people also distribute gifts and enjoy mouth watering sweets, food.

Diwali decorations and Diya decorations are not only limited to houses or workplace but people also decorate their streets, buildings, etc. Happy Diwali also represents that you are welcoming goddess Laxmi with prosperity and well-being by cleaning and lighting up the premises.

As we all know Happy Diwali 2015 is coming and definitely we will start with plans of Diwali decorations and Diya decoration to decorate our houses and workplace and celebrate Happy Diwali 2015 with happiness and burn crackers to enjoy with family and friends. I request you to clean all the garbage and fireworks lit from your surroundings and streets on the next morning of Diwali. And my another suggestion is not to burn big crackers and stop noise pollution.
